- On August 9th the Alaska Department of Labor asked for more information about my specific reason for quitting (I quit because my boss had denied my medical benefits for the entire time I was employed. Silly accusations were made against me, on my performance evaluations here, to justify the denial of medical benefits.).
- The same day (Aug 9, 2007), they contacted the Detox supervisor twice (see below).
- Less than 24 hours later, on August 10th, the patients were kicked out and Detox was closed (Click here). No notice had been given to anybody.
- Cash shortfalls and the "nationwide nursing shortage" were blamed. (see nurse and cash pages). Detox employees were all given one month severance pay.
- [The $865,000 contract with the state was not finished. No advance notice was given to the state that the Salvation Army was not going to finish the contract.]
- It took until October for the state to arrange a contract with ANMC (Click here).
